The lab is open past midnight most nights. Here's what a working session actually looks like.
The robotics lab on the Lahore campus runs on open bench access, not scheduled lab hours. Students book time on the CNC and 3D printers, but the soldering stations and test rigs are first-come, first-served, which means the room fills up in the two weeks before any capstone deadline.
On a typical evening you'll find three or four project teams working in parallel: one debugging a motor controller that's drawing too much current, another running a navigation test lap around the cone course taped to the floor, a third just staring at a CAD model trying to figure out why a bracket doesn't clear the chassis.
Faculty office hours happen inside the lab, not a separate office, which is deliberate. The fastest way to unstick a hardware bug is to have someone who's debugged the same class of problem look at the actual robot, not a description of it.
